In the day care centers the staff is working with youngsters with the age between 6 and 12 years.

A lot of these youngsters tried to put their first steps on the internet at home with almost no guidance.  Parents don't have enough skills and don't know what their youngsters do on  social network sites. In one of our day care centers we guide youngsters during the their first steps on the net. At the same time,  we work with the parents and encourage them to talk with their children about what they are doing on the internet. In the day care center we learn the youngsters to create a profile on Ning platform (closed environment), and we learn them the benefits, advantages and disadvantages of social network sites. On the other hand we learn the parents the same things, so that they are well informed about our plans and what their children actually do on the internet..
